Too sheer
I bought this in the sale as it looked a pretty neutral nude shade, the packaging is pretty and the lid snaps shut on a magnetic closure but sadly it’s so sheer and it’s the same shade as my lips so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing lipstick. Might as well have just bought a lip balm.
Subtle and moisturising
This is my second purchase of Chantecaille Wild Mustang Lip Veil, also in Laurel. I have fair skin and this is subtle, while giving a definite pink hue. My lips feel moisturised for several hours, which is much longer than most lipsticks or lipsyls.

Good colour pigment
I like this lipstick but have knocked off a star because I find it can make my lips look dry. I have to wear it with lip balm or another lipstick. The pigment is great and the colour lasts ages. In the colder weather, I think I prefer the lip chic. That said, I would repurchase another lip veil. I think Chantecaille are high quality and I'm normally very pleased with the products.

Beautiful, wild begonia
I normally buy the limited edition lip veils, the packaging is always beautiful and the lip veils apply very smoothly. Wild Begonia is a very pretty colour - not too deep - the 'my lips but better' sort of colour. They are expensive, so I have knocked off one star, and I am not sure how much of our UK purchase price goes towards supporting the mustangs.

Beautiful lipstick
I’m not a frequent lipstick wearer and prefer a more muted lip look so I purchased the shade Laurel. It’s quite a dusky pink on my lips but quite subtle very much like a veil of colour rather than fully opaque. The texture is beautiful, hydrating basically like a lip balm and it’s lasts much longer than expected. It’s extremely comfortable to wear and I have very dry lips. The packaging is just stunning it closes with a magnetic snap and looks so chic. As with all Chantecaille the products are superb quality and I highly recommend this is you need a subtle hydrating lipstick if you prefer a bolder colour they are proton muted.
