About The Brand
Founded in 2000 by perfumer Frédéric Malle, Les Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle tells stories through scent. With a background in history, photography and advertising, Frédéric wanted to bring something new and revolutionary to the fragrance space by creating a world of his own. Each perfume within the collection is made and developed by a different perfumer – thus telling a distinct, personal story. The French brand revolutionised the fragrance space by having each perfumer sign their creation. The fragrance house’s perfumers are given complete freedom when crafting new scents and are treated as authors who tell stories through scent. This extends to the design – while each bottle has a minimal and sleek design, the packaging is made to mimic the same feeling as picking up a new book in a library. While they’re all different and tell a different story, the perfumes still tie in perfectly together.
