Diptyque Orphéon captures the atmosphere of the now closed late-night bar, with notes of tobacco mixed with makeup powder, along with subtle notes of jasmine. The perfume notes of this Diptyque perfume capture the nostalgia of what the Parisian nightlife used to be in the early 60s, in a place where the Diptyque founders used to meet and share anecdotes.
The French brand created this scent for its sixtieth anniversary, now that the original Diptyque store has expanded where the bar used to be situated. It’s an homage to this legendary place.

Love this
I got this as a sample and have since purchased a bigger size - this is a wonderful fragrance which if woody yet the dry down is quite floral. I think this is unisex. The lasting power is decent, and projection is also medium, not in your face but you can smell it on yourself throughout the day

I’ve never loved a perfume like this before
I tried this in the Diptique advent calendar I bought myself and wow. It was love at first smell. I usually like a sweet and girly smells like Chanel Coco Mademoiselle or Miss Dior so this is quite different for me but I love it! The packaging is absolutely beautiful and it makes me feel very sophisticated and fancy. I also have the solid perfume which whilst smelling great doesn’t have much lasting power. This is expensive but worth it.

Gorgeous - very versatile
Love love love this perfume, it’s my new everyday scent. It’s an interesting mix, a little bit powdery, a little bit woodsy, very “clean” smelling. The juniper berry is definitely at the forefront. It’s definitely unisex and pretty all terrain, you could wear this day or night, springtime or winter. The projection and longevity is great too. Hits all the marks for me!

I don't get the hype
It's not my favourite and I was a bit disappointed when I smelled this at first. I had a sample of this, and was quite excited to try it out. It's soapy, deep, elegant and quite masculine. I would definitely see it more as a room refreshner or candle, not as a perfume. It's simply not for me.
