Sparkling!
I blind bought this perfume when it was on sale. I’m a slave to anything rose-scented and was intrigued by the sparkling wine scent: how would Maison Margiela capture sparkling wine in a perfume?! Well, I’m here to say they have and it is delightful! The first spritz of many perfumes can often be deceptive, but with On A Date you get the main notes immediately. The wine/grape scent has a sweet fizziness and really pops. You can almost feel the bubbles in your nose! The only downside is on the dry down it doesn’t maintain that fizzy grape pop. That is why I took away a star. Unfortunately my skin is quite porous and this is a toilette, so my skin doesn’t hold a lot of scents as well as others. Having said that, it doesn’t disappear after a couple of hours, which, for a toilette is a miracle. It is a great everyday scent that isn’t too overwhelming or divisive, so it’s good for work or everyday wear. I would love for On A Date to be released as a parfum, I would be in heaven…

So long lasting
This perfume is the most long lasting perfume I have ever tried. It started off quite fresh and almost sweet floral on my skin but sadly dries down to a scent not dissimilar to a pine scented car freshener on my skin so it’s just not a match for me. However its really lasts, nearly all perfume fades super fast on my skin but I could still small this days later on my wrist. This is the first scent from this range I didn’t like but I would still highly recommend trying them as it will be a great match for some.

Love this smell
This perfume is named perfectly because it's exactly the type of perfume that I would want to wear on a date. It's quite sweet smelling, you can definitely smell the berry notes and then it lingers in a warm scent on my skin. Good longevity for the scent lasting into the evening

Gorgeous scent, lasts on the skin
Gorgeous scent, lasts on the skin. It’s a really unique smell, I’ve heard it described as smelling like wine which I can see. Lasts really well and I always get complimented when I wear it. I can still smell it on my clothes the day after. Works great when layered with other perfumes too, w little goes a long way
