Excellent for large pores
I was wary of using this as I also purchased it as part of the SpaceNK set and I was worried mine may be a bit off as well. I agree that there is a smell but I don't think it is off, it is typical of vitamin C treatments and actually nowhere near as pungent as other power C products that I have tried. I actually found this serum extremely effective on my large pores. It calmed and clarified them whilst tightening and brightening my skin without any irritation. I rate this as an outstanding product and highly recommend it to anyone with combination, mature skin.

Retinol and Vitamin C Serum
I received this serum as a part of SpaceNK set and was looking forward to use it as vitamin C has done wonders with my skin. However, to my disappointment the product has obviously seen its best times. The serum has a dreadful smell and the texture is broken and became liquid with white lumps of cream in it. I still tried it and it caused irritation to my skin. I understand the offer was too good to be true, but I trusted SpaceNK and did not expect a catch. Now I realise that some other creams I had bought in the past on offer were well before their expiry date. I can now see other similar reviews and this is a shame as I have been loyal customer and recommend SpaceNK a lot. Also does not help the brands they sell, as how do you know if it is a poor product or you just tried an expired one?
Brightening and amazing
I’ve been a loyal user of another brand’s retinol for a couple of years now but got this in the vitamin c edit so was excited to try. All I can say is YES. Apart from the slightly unpleasant smell (wouldn’t even know how to describe it tbh) I am loving this product. My lines appear reduced and my skin is brighter when I wake up each morning which is a miracle as I don’t sleep much. I have knocked a star off for the smell and the price as sadly this isn’t a product I could ordinarily afford but if I spot it again in another edit i will definitely get it just for this alone - amazing product.

Fabulous
I used this serum for a week now and I can see my skin glow. I love Kate Somerville skincare and this is another great product. I love the texture and how beautiful goes in skin. It is a bit different than others vitamin C/ retinol serums but feels amazing on skin. Definitely I will repurchase.
