Product has changed significantly
I was using the previous primer so I ordered again when I had run out. Very different and unfortunately not as good. Have persisted with it and whilst it does an adequate job, it certainly does not compare to the original you used to sell.

Really hydrating, nice light creamy consistency, leaves skin smooth but also excellent prep for make up! Foundation sits really well on top. I have acne scars, which have left bumps and I feel it covers these better than just foundation on its own

I have had this for a year now and this has never caused me problems. It has never pilled under makeup. It has worked wonderfully with anything I put over it. You really don't have to use much of this either so it really does last ages. I'm not even finished mine yet, so I view it as well worth my money

Very hydrating, great base
I got this full size as I loved the sample I received, its very similar to bobby brown's 'face base' but with a slightly more gel like texture, it has a nice subtle smell to it too. It really hydrates your skin, sometimes when I've forgotten to put it on first, I'll dab it over my concealer on my under eyes and it really wakes them up and hydrates them. I don't use a whole load of foundation so can't really speak to the staying power, but this feels like a really nice moisturiser on the skin and is perfect for ensuring concealer doesnt go crinkley. I just really like the feel of this on my skin
Lovely product
I cannot find the actual Laura Mercier primer product that I bought - it was the perfecting one, but I wanted to leave a review anyway. I think this primer is great and sinks into the skin really well, providing a great base for make-up. It also seems to only require a small amount so lasts well.
