Founded by Rob Calcraft and Antony Buck in 2000, REN Clean Skincare was motivated by Buck's then-pregnant wife who faced an onslaught of reactions to her skincare products. It was this experience that initiated a wary perception of common ingredients used within the beauty industry and her desire for ‘safe’ skincare that inspired REN’s ambition to pave the way for clean beauty brands.
