Not sure if it’s worth the money
I’ll start by saying I got this as a free gift when I purchased other Tatcha products so I’m happy, the scent is light and nice , fresh but I don’t find it lingers long after a shower unlike other products I’ve used at similar price points. The exfoliation is gentle enough that you can use it daily and the bottle is beautiful like every other Tatcha packaging but I personally wouldn’t purchase it when used up
best free gift ever
I got this for free when I ordered Tatcha products and I'm obsessedddd. Oh, the Tatcha Hinoki Body Wash is like a trip to a cozy Japanese forest every time you shower! The smell is so calming and fresh, like you’re surrounded by trees—just totally zen vibes. It lathers beautifully and makes your skin feel super soft and moisturized. Plus, the bottle is so pretty in the shower! This body wash is perfect for anyone who loves a little daily self-care moment. Just love it so much!
Pricey
This is a lovely product, but so pricey. I had a small sample only so my review is based on using this produce 3 times. It does what it says, but exfoliation is on a milder side. The fragrance is amazing though. I still cannot justify the price.. also the packaging is a bit tacky and doesn't look good on a bathroom open shelf when you have Aesop next to it.
Luxury shower cleanser without the forest
The product says soft exfoliating cleanser which is a good description. I live in an area of hard water and the body wash is high quality so it does lather well and you only need a small amount. However I was under the impression that it was part of a forest bathing experience and infused with Forest Awakening Oil Blend. The smell is lemony but I cannot smell any cedar or pine or woody scent which would remind you of a forest. Hence only 3 stars.
So lovely to use
I love everything about this body wash. It smells so gorgeous and lathers up well. The exfoliating effect is mild but effective, and non-abrasive. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth and smelling lovely. It is on the expensive side for a body wash but using it feels like a real treat.
