This spray-on product has a gentle creamy texture and goes to work immediately upon application to soothe and protect sun-exposed skin. Formulated without fragrance for sensitive skin, Institut Esthederm Intolerances Solaires Spray works to hydrate the skin, while active ingredients help promote increased sun tolerance from within.
This product can be used in advance of anticipated sun exposure to help build skin tolerance – simply apply generously after bathing for up to two weeks before holidays and outings in high sun areas. Continue use for the duration of sun exposure, applying 20 minutes before skin is exposed to sun and reapplying hourly throughout the day.

This really works- even for me!
I have used this sun intolerance lotion for years now and it’s still the best. It’s fine for the face too actually, although they also make a cream specially. It doesn’t clog the pores and is easy to spread over the whole body. And it WORKS! I have never burned since using it, and what’s more, I have a very sensitive skin and suffer badly from allergic reactions too. I am very fair skinned and have to be checked regularly for skin cancers, and the oncologist really approves of it. Result!!

Excellent but no cure for me
Like some of the other reviewers I suffer from PMLE (polymorphic light eruption) so I had high hopes that this would prove to be a cure for this nasty condition. Sadly it was not a cure to me but there is no doubts that this is an excellent product. I used as directed and when the rash finally appeared, after four days, the effect was less and using this product meant I could continue to enjoy the sun. Not a silver bullet for me but it did help reduce the rash.

This really works !
I always used to get a rash from the sun (something called polymorphic light eruption syndrome!!!) but I used this amazing product as directed (started using before my holiday to Southern Italy this year) and like magic - no itchy rash this time. A miracle worker product. Expensive but definitely worth it and I recommend.

Game changer!
I started to suffer from sun intolerance on my neck and décolletage a few years ago, but it’s more like a heat intolerance for me as it often comes up after a warm shower or bath. I wasn’t sure whether this product would help but gave it a go anyway and I’ve been so impressed with the results - after only a week of use on those areas, I stopped experiencing any redness! I’ve now cut down to using this once every few days and the effect has been the same - so impressed!

I got this as a present for my mum and she really liked it. For context, she is extremely sensitive to the sun. Sometimes she can't even go in the garden when the sun is out, so when I got her this she was amazed and how full the coverage was. It really is worth every penny.
