Not Impressed
I wasn't impressed with this SPF body Lotion. Luckily I had a sample to try first but if doesn't smell like the rest of the range and not sure if that's to do with mixing the SPF in with a fragranced lotion. The texture isn't great either. A bit oily and doesn't absorb very well. It leaves a residue on my skin which I don't like as it feels sticky.
Stick to there body creams
Wanted to love this but it’s a hard pass . So glad I got to try a sample of this before a bought it as I was disappointed . The smell was nowhere near as nice as there body creams and sprays . It feel sticky and greasy . Not sure about protection as it was only a sample .
not my favorite
Doesn't smell like rio radiance as advertised, smells weird to me and is very thick and oily once applied. It als9o has a weird disclaimer on the back saying that it is for 'aesthetic purposes only' and that it is 'not intended to provide sun protectant benefits' but the product is advertised as 'broad spectrum SPF 50 high protection uva uvb'. The sunscreen was hard to absorb and left a strange feeling. Dissapointing, I love almost all other sol de janerio products.
Nice smell but won't be replacing sunscreen
I was glad to receive this as a sample as I am a huge fan of the sol de janeiro scents. It smells good and goes on very well, but I feel like it won't be a good replacement for proper body sunscreen purely from a price point of view and formulation... will be sticking to the bom dia lotion!
a bit sticky
got a free sample so can't really comment on how much product I would need to use on a constant basis. the sample was enough just to use on my face. love the smell but have to agree with some of the review saying it's a bit sticky. however I do feel like it did a good job at protecting my skin. put it on for my first day at the beach and didn't get burnt so i guess it did its job
