Good serum tricky applicator
The cream from this range is my favourite of all the Kate Somerville products so I was expecting great things from this serum. The serum itself is good over time it will give results however I get better results from the Total Repair Cream. The serum feels wonderfully cool when applied but it is difficult to get the right amount on the applicator particularly as it’s coming to the end it’s hard to get any out without squeezing and then it’s too much. The serum itself is silky and really hydrating I find it works best at night as it’s slightly too dewy for under my daytime skincare and it does pill a little. Overall I won’t repurchase I will stick with the Total Repair Cream if it came in a different bottle I would reconsider.

Great serum
It’s a great serum. After using it for a couple of weeks I noticed that my skin colour had truly even out. I have less redness and my melasma is less visible. My skin feels very soft. It’s also a good product for under the make up, it doesn’t lift the make up and the make up stays in place for the whole day.

Love it and think its really good. Not sure I can write a minimum of 250 characters about it though! combined with the cream which is in a special pot that dispenses the right amount and is airtight its a good combo. Thats all I have to say except please reduce this minimum

Didn’t suit me
I got this free to review, my rosacea prone skin prefers a simple routine so I passed it on to my sister. She enjoyed it but not sure she saw results. I feel it’s expensive to not be sure what impact it is having. Not a bad product, just not one I would choose for myself or to gift.

Instantly cooling
The first challenge was the product applicator. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it does feel really cooling and refreshing on my skin. The applicator does enhance the whole experience and make each use a great feature but i do get frustrated with the level of control when trying to dispense a measured amount. This becomes increasingly tricky as the tube contents decrease. The lightweight gel itself is delightful. Really refreshing to the touch. Skin feels invigorated and refreshed which over time has reduced pore appearance and improved elasticity. I find the gel itself absolutely brilliant. I will struggle however to buy another tube as the packaging itself is too fiddly too properly control, which is a real shame.
