A Bit Disappointing
I was excited to try this serum from a deluxe sample I received however was a bit disappointed once I started using it as continuously caused breakouts. I am usually fine with niacinamide serums as they help with pore appearance and oil control however I couldn't get along with this one. Not something I would spend the money on as feel there are alternatives that work better for me.
Best Use: Visible Pores
Reduces appearance of pores
I am 53 with fair skin and visible pores on my nose. I’ve been using the cleanser for darker tones, since it contains salicylic acid for gentle exfoliation. Next, I layer the super anti-aging serum with Better B, for a soft, smooth, even complexion.

Tried sample size
I had a small sample of this that I very happily used. I love Barbara Sturm and especially trying her new products. I appreciate this serum absorbed quickly, was perfect under another moisturizer and sunscreen (non-pilling) and felt lightweight. I didn’t experience any irritation or redness. The sample lasted me two days (just on face) and I’d love to repurchase to see the long-term effects

Surprising serum
I have tried this serum from a sample, always excited to try these expensive products and to find out what is the deal. The first surprise fir ne was the consistency of the serum, it has milky color and is rather thick. It did not expect it, the most of these niacinamide serums are of watery and thin consistency. It really feels rich and nurishing when I apply it to my skin, great first experiance. The second surprise was, when I save all the pimples and broke out skin on my face, the next day. This serum was the only thing I have changed in my skin care routine, and my oily skin is not a friend with this serum, thus I take the stars.
