Excellent for uneven tone
I appreciate that products like this work differently for different skin types. Having received a deluxe sample (and unaware of the cost) of this, I approached it with an open mind. I have mature, lined skin with some uneven skin tone in patches. Although this serum did not miraculously erase my lines, it did a great job at evening my skin and clarifying some of my discoloured patches. It is actually incredibly effective if this is what you want. I also have sensitive skin and found this did not irritate it or dry it out.

High Strength Retinol
I was surprised to see this product had received lots of not-so-great reviews as I did like it. I had a generous sample size and used 3-4 times per week for a couple of weeks. I liked the consistency and it absorbed quickly. It did leave skin feeling 'snatched' but not dry. The only reason for 4-stars is the price, which I don't think is justified - but a nice product nonetheless.

I received a sample of this so was only able to use it for a few nights but I wasn't impressed The texture is quite drying which I didn't like - although I guess it's fine as you put moisturiser on afterwards. I didn't notice anything amazing about my c=skin after using it - but perhaps I needed to use it for longer in order to notice results But at £200 I most definitley wouldnt buy it or recommend it
Not the best
I received a sample of this which I have been using every other night for the last two weeks. Retinol has been part of my skin care routine for a few years now so my skin has got used to it - as a result, I have not experienced any flaking or redness using this product but as I have only tried the product for a short time, I can't vouch for any longer term effects. However, for me personally, I prefer my retinol to be a bit a more oil-based consistency - this is quite dry and I didn't like how it felt on my skin. I also don't think you need to spend £200 on a retinol when you can get a good equivalent for much less.
Not worth the price
It’s a nice enough product — feels good on the skin, nice texture, absorbs well, pleasant scent, not harsh as some exfoliating/retinol products can be, and no negative side affects. But, is it €230 nice? No. A product would need to be pretty magical to justify that price tag to me, and this isn’t it.
