Having worked in the beauty industry for over a decade, collaborating with luxury brands, publications and celebrity clients, Isamaya has a wealth of experience and has a reputation for pushing boundaries.
While a lot of makeup artists create looks that are traditionally and conventionally beautiful, Isamaya is known for going to great lengths, including using prosthetics, to create extraordinary looks that shock and inspire. Her Instagram is proof of this and packed full of shoots where she’s both model and makeup artist. Isamaya’s latest work includes a look with jet black lacquered lips with black teeth.
It was only a matter of time before she launched her own line of makeup, and in 2022 she founded ISAMAYA Beauty. “Over the years I have developed products and produced the creative direction for a number of other brands in the luxury market and I came to a point where I wanted to create freely without the restraints of catering to someone else’s point of view in beauty,” Isamaya tells us.
