Developed to build body and create a healthier-looking mane, this light foam will not leave a build-up of product in the hair or add weight. The formula includes organic honey, marshmallow and burdock, which combine to deliver fuller looks for fine or medium hair.
For the best results from the Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam, do not shake the bottle before use. Start by dampening the hair before dispensing one or two pumps into the palms and rubbing the hands together. Then, apply to the locks evenly paying more attention to the roots for lifted styles. Finally, blow-dry using a rounded brush to produce volume.

Couldn't get on with it
This was a very disappointing product. I don't use a mousse often so thought I'd try this foam but it did not give my hair any volume. It made my hair feel a bit crispy and limp. I'm glad I only purchased the travel size version of this product. I will not re-purchase this.
Disappointed
I was disappointed with this product. It won't weigh down your fine hair, that's true but it's not giving that much volume either. Also at the end of the day, my hair went back to its regular volume like I didn't use any product at all so it's not worth the time and effort. Not going to repurchase.
Volumising product
This product does give volume to fine hair. As others have said, don't use too much, otherwise it is sticky. Importantly for me it does not involve an aerosol spray can so is more sustainable than many similar products. It was hard for me to remember not to shake it, but I've got used to that now.

I am so disappointed with this product
Leaves a residue and does not add any volume to my medium length layered hair. Certainly not worth the price tag. Hair is dry and fly away the following day after use.

Great lightweight volume
This is great to give volume for fine hair without weighing it down or leaving behind a strong residue. The formula is quite interesting, in the sense it's volumizing without giving strong hold which could be either a pro or a con depending on preference. This isn't quite my favorite volumizing styling product but it's probably in the top 5. I can see myself repurchasing this at some point after I've worked through some of other products.
