Nothing special
I got this and the body wash as sample sizes as part of a gift and while they were useful for travelling , smelled fresh etc there was nothing outstanding about the body lotion. There are certainly no amazing qualities to justify the high price tag, it’s just an average body lotion.
Really lovely with the wash
I love good scents but sometimes don’t want anything too punchy and this is definitely a great go to for those days. However the scent is still lovely, a combination of rose, chamomile, lemon and ylang-ylang, and it lasts. It is also long lasting and the bottle gorgeous.

Subtle
I recently received a present of the hand wash and the hand lotion and I hadn’t previously tried Bamford so I was keen to do so. Like the hand wash, this has a really subtle, fresh scent of rose which isn’t overpowering or strong. The lotion is easily absorbed and not sticky or tacky. Packaging is a bit underwhelming - a green plastic bottle but it’s good enough.
