Good regular shampoo
I haven’t tried many oribe ones yet but find this one a reasonably good shampoo. It cleanses well and leaves my hair manageable though I wouldn’t say it’s “volumising”. I personally don’t find the fragrance anything special but the functional side fits the billing.

The best of the lot
I honestly never knew hair products could be as good as Oribe products are. I'm a huge fan of their Gold Lust range after receiving a sample of the shampoo and conditioner, so I thought I would try this on my fine hair, that's getting finer with age. I've tried so many thickening shampoos but this is without a doubt the best.

Sadly not at all what I hoped
I wanted to love this shampoo -- I really did! Unfortunately, compared to other shampoos that Oribe makes (gold lust, signature, alchemy)... this is such a dissapointment. I have fine hair, but loads of it, and I was hoping this shampoo would give my tresses some volume. Not at all... it just feels tangly and heavy.

Very good for fine hair
I have fine hair but quite a lot of it which means it can actually get weighted down and be flat quite easily. I have a short pixie cut and even without much weight - it can look flat. I bought the shampoo and conditioner from this range as a bit of a splurge and after a few uses, I can really tell that this is a much more sophisticated shampoo than my normal supermarket ones. You only need a very small amount and it lathers up very well, removing product build up and leaving hair volumised but not fluffy. For short hair - this is great as you can use less styling product which can also weigh the hair down. The scent is fantastic and gives it a luxury feel which you'd expect given the cost! The cost does seem very high and although I wash my hair daily, I will probably only use this a few times a week.
