Gentler alternative to retinols!
Used this when I had pregnancy acne (it’s safe) and it was brilliant! My spots visibly shrank overnight! Unlike retinols and salicylic acid, this was super hydrating and didn’t dry out my skin. It’s great for face and body and does make a noticeable difference. If you want something more intense, you are better with a retinol. But this was perfect for me

I was looking for niacinamide item with a friendly price and I am happy that I made this purchase. I have very sensitive skin and did not want to invest too much before knowing that my skin agrees with this ingredient. I had no side effects and zinc definitely is a plus. My skin looks very good.

Another great value product from The Ordinary
This serum has a pleasant lightweight feel and is easy to apply. It did a good job at balancing sebum production, but might be better suited for oilier skins as it left my skin feeling a little dry and tight so I had to follow with a rich moisturiser. After I first used it, there was a slight tingling and I had a few small pimples come up, but these disappeared quite quickly and after that the serum did a good job of calming my skin down. However it didn't have any effect on reducing post-spot scars.

I still get breakouts at 43 unfortunately and i use this serum every night just on my t-zone and this helps to control it a little before i put a treatment lotion on and it does make a difference to my skin, I’m also very happy with the price for this one i also really like the powder version of this that you can add to your own serum
