To maximise results and deliver a big dose of nourishment, this Drunk Elephant retinol cream has been enriched with a cocktail of peptides and superfood-rich ingredients. A trio of peptides boosts the benefits of retinol, while passionfruit, apricot and jojoba oils help to further soothe and moisture.
This Drunk Elephant retinol formula has been made with all skin types in mind and can be used AM and PM – however, it’s best to start using it only once or twice a week in the evening, especially if you’re new to retinol. Once your skin has built a tolerance, you can eventually use it every other night or even daily – and remember to always wear sunscreen!

Drunk Elephant was born out of founder Tiffany Masterson’s ongoing struggle with a range of skin complaints. After becoming disillusioned with the products at her disposal and the ingredients they were formulated with, she launched Drunk Elephant as a biocompatible skincare range in 2012, creating each product as a potent, easily absorbed elixir.
Each product in the Drunk Elephant range is formulated with a high percentage of active ingredients, all made at skin-friendly PH levels. Whether you’re looking to battle blemishes, reduce redness or revitalise the complexion, there are a variety of options for all concerns and any skin type.
They’re a cult favourite for a reason and are often touted as one of the best skincare brands out there, with quality and efficacy at the heart of each formulation. But it’s not just your skincare regime that can benefit from the range, as Drunk Elephant has forayed into body care and haircare too.

Best retinol
This is the best retinol product I’ve tried. I have very dry skin and having tried a few different once’s this worked for me. It’s not too oily in consistency, works well with my night moisturiser without pilling and I have seen noticeable effects after a few months use.

ok
I know that everyone raves about the brand Drunk Elephant, but I haven't ever tried one of their products and loved it and this was no exception. To be fair, it was a tiny sample so I could only use it once and therefore long term I can't say what it would do ... but in the short term it was nothing special. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, sank in nicely etc etc but certainly had no wow factor - and I have found other retinol testers which you notice a difference the very next morning

Too Strong For My Skin
I was looking forward to using this product as I suffer from melasma and wanted this retinol product to help getting rid of it. Unfortunately it didn’t play nicely with my skin. I used it roughly twice a week and every time I used it my skin became very flaky. It looked very unattractive. I persevered but this didn’t stop at all. I didn’t see anything positive at all when using. I’ve used other retinol products and never had this issue with any others. I wouldn’t purchase this product again.

not good for sensitive skin
I really wanted to like the this Retinol Cream, but it was too strong for my sensitive skin. Even as I gradually worked my way up to it, I experienced irritation and discomfort. My skin got really red and dry... it just wasn't good for me. Despite its promising ingredients and benefits, it just didn’t work for me.

too much scent
This is not the only high percentage retind available in the UK, and I find that for the price the formula shoud be more potent. It also is very scented, which I found irritating for my skin ( not attributing this to the actual retinol, as I am used to regular use of retinol).
