Long time favourite
I’m not a big fan of brands with gimmicky packaging marketed for teens (I’m 39) but this face wash has been a staple for me for at least 5 years. It’s very mild and gentle yet effective at cleansing. I do not have acne so try to avoid cleansers with actives so as not irritate my skin barrier, and this does the job perfectly. If you wear heavy make up, you’ll still need to use make up remover, but I think that’s true for all cleansers that don’t strip your face. I keep trying new cleansers out of curiosity for what else is out there and always come back to this one.

My go-to
Removes makeup super well (even with waterproof mascara, just a bit of warm water and the cleanser will take it off), and feels nice on the skin. I have been using this product for 2 years now and have tried a few others, but have never been able to move away from this cleanser.

I have received a little version of this cleanser and I absolutely love taking it with me traveling. A little goes a long way so I never run out of it, even when on a holiday and using it several times a day. The cleanser is still quite gentle and it does not feel drying.
Basic
I had a sample previous and it’s an okay cleanser but I wouldn’t say anything special certainly wouldn’t go out and buy it. It’s enough that it doesn’t leave any irritation and I didn’t find that it stripped the skin. I thought it was gonna smell fruity, the packaging and the cantaloupe ingredients made me think that it might be some kind of fruity creamy wash. it’s basic no lasting impression unfortunately
Not too special
I bought this because I trust the ingredients in drunk elephants. I appreciate using the cleanser since it leaves my face feeling clean without being excessively drying because I have combination skin. I enjoy the jelly feel and the amount of foam it produces when lathered on the skin. But considering the price, there are other comparable cleansers that are less expensive and have a similar result.
