With a base of moss, patchouli and vetiver, this fine cologne conveys a strong sense of the traditional. It’s brought firmly up to date, however, with the addition of spicy geranium, cardamom and star anise. Incense lends it depth, lavender a sense of grace and self-awareness, whilst bergamot completes the package, communicating a cool and confident masculinity.

Clean and classic
This is an ultra clean and ultra classic scent for a guy, and something a little unexpected for others. I enjoy this when i want to be professional or non-invasive with my scent profile for the day, and always find that it lingers well and sits well on the skin. Because it’s a bit more traditionally masculine I think you’d need to layer it with another scent if you prefer for your profile to lean more feminine. Either way, this is an essential for the guy in your life.

adore this!
Something about this fragrance from Byredo evokes such powerful memories for me. Childhood holidays in Italy come to mind for some reason. It's such a clean cologne smell but theres that Byredo twist to make it a little more interesting. Definitely one to try!

Definitely one for the men!
I just LOVE this fragrance. It reminds me of cologne I wore when I was younger but in a good way. This smells like the successful sophisticated men I admired and secretly lusted after when I first started work. It’s citrusy and a little bit spicy. It’s summer. It’s nostalgia. It’s just beautiful.
Not for me
I received a sample of this. It isn't for me, it has spicy, citrus, floral notes, the spices overwhelm it for me. It is very masculine, like a clean barbershop smell. It's a bit bland. On the positive side, longevity is good which isn't always the case for byredo.
I love this
I recently received a sample of this and I loved it. I know the notes say it is a man’s fragrance but I disagree and I think it is like the majority of Byredo scents and is suitable for either sex. It’s a citrusy, fresh fragrance that smells really clean and nice. It lasted quite well (although not as well as some of the heavier Byredo perfumes) and made you feel really fresh. An ideal summer fragrance for men and women. I would like to see more Space NK stores having samples available on Byredo - it’s an expensive mistake if you can’t try it first.
