Shocked that anyone could like this product.

Worst lip balm I’ve ever used and drys my lips after using. I’m unfortunately having to use it at the moment as I’ve been unable to get my hands on holy grail of lip balms - Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour. This is thr worst present my sister has ever got me.

Nice product

While this wasn’t what I expected I did like the product. When it said salve I expected a much thicker balmy texture. This is pretty thin I would say it only provides light hydration if you have really chapped lips I probably wouldn’t go for this. I was also pleasantly surprise by the scent. I was worried it was going to taste horrible but it was very light and fresh.

Great scent, average results

For something called a salve I was expecting something a little heavier duty than this. It is essentially a cream, with a similar texture and thickness to a handcream and about as moisturising as a handcream would be on the lips. This one won't soothe dry lips in a lasting way and definitely is more about brand and scent than results.

Luscious lip balm

I was initially torn between this lip balm and the Aesop SPF lip salve, however this product is great (despite not having SPF, it just depends what your priorities are). You can taste the citrusy flavour which I love and my lips feel really hydrated and soft. It stays on for a long time and leave a lovely glossy finish.

Good gift

I bought this as part of a christmas present for my dad as he loves Aesop and thought this was a great product for the winter. I know he often gets dry lips and has said this has helped them. However I would say I don’t think it’s anything too special and performance wise I wouldn’t say it’s any better than your average chapstick. Although it is a lovely gift as it’s a bit more luxurious and he loves it
