Amazing for summer
This’s an amazing light and fresh scent. I think it’s great any time of a year but probably best in summer time. It smells like a sea and reminds about vacations. I highly recommend to try this perfume.

Not typical salt
Salt can sounds like basic, acquatic male-ish parfum, but is very different. To be honest, it does not give me buch of a salty tones. Immediately, after the spray it reminds me od Velvet Orchid from TF. There is sweetness of white chocolate, floralness and beachy tone with ambergris. Scents shows darker accords, it gives me levander and patchouli vibes. After an hour, creamyness comes, sweet vanilla, but still some lightness to it.

Beautiful scent, but fades away too quick
I took sample from Discovery Set on my Madeira holidays and it was perfect for those summer weather I found there. It is just perfect summer scend, great to wear on some beach walk and beach party. But once again staying power on my skin it is not great, scent faded away within few hours every time, it didn't matter if I used it on my skin or on my clothes. I had that problem with other scent from the brand. Scents from Ellis Brooklyn seem to be not for me.

No longevity
I was excited to try this range and bought the trial size, which is still expensive, but I thought it was a great size for my handbag. However, I am not keen on the smell - always a risk when buying online, but the fact it barely lasts an hour on my skin is a huge disappointment. I will not be trying the rest of the range as I guess I will have the same issue with them all.

Really nice
I received a present of the 10ml size of the Ellis Brooklyn Salt and I had never heard of this brand before, however I really like it. The Salt fragrance is like a summer’s day on the beach - it just makes you feel like summer. It’s not too heavy but just uplifting and so nice with the benefit of lasting well too. The 10ml size to try is fabulous - more companies should do this as it’s an in-expensive way to try a fragrance before splashing out on a 50ml. A lovely gift and would purchase the full size (although the 10ml is perfect in your handbag).
