- Step 3: Doubles as eyeshadow. Apply to lids for a glass-like sheen. Tip: For an even more intense highlight, first spritz your brush with the Rare Beauty’s Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist, then sweep across the powder and apply Made of 50% pearl microshimmers set in a semi-sheer base, this highlighter is more delicate than it looks.
