Lovely body cream
Full disclaimer - yes the scent is strong - but I like it and it mellows very quickly. It is an absolutely amazing body cream. I don’t apply much - my skin doesn’t need much - and I find that less is more re absorption or the product just sits on the surface. It makes my skin feel really hydrated, and the hydration lasts. Really great product.

Mediocre body cream with overpowering scent
I've tried two sample sizes of the body cream from Sol de Janeiro. While it moisturized and made my skin smooth like any other lotion or cream, it's hard to say if it had any exfoliating effects after just a couple of uses. However, the smell was too overpowering for me. It lingered on my pajamas and other clothing, and bothered me throughout the next day. Due to this, I won't be purchasing the full-sized product.

Smells really nice
I got this because I really like the texture of the sol de Janeiro body creams and this is really good! I’m not sure that it did anything to ‘brighten’ my skin even though it says it has vitamin c and ahas which is typically what I use on my face in the mornings and nights. I’m also not sure if it has enough to warrant needing sunscreen on your body to protect it from the sun (I know that putting these actives on your face make it very sensitive so you need to make sure you’re wearing sunscreen, but I’m not sure about this lotion as I didn’t find my skin more sensitive to the sun). I did find the scent really nice though, I used the Cherirosa and Bum Bum cream for ages and I found that this in comparison is less sweet. It’s really nice and in the off-chance that this does help with brightness I think it’s worth it
